STOP violence against women now!

 The United Nations, respectively UNICEF, has declared the 25th of November as the  International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

According to the UN, violence against women manifests itself physically, sexually and psychologically.
  • intimate partner violence (battering, psychological abuse, marital rape, femicide);
  • sexual violence and harassment (rape, forced sexual acts, unwanted sexual advances  child sexual abuse, forced marriage, street harassment, stalking, cyber- harassment);
  • human trafficking (slavery, sexual exploitation);
  • female genital mutilation; and
  • child marriage.

Definition:
 “any act of gender-based violence that results in, or is likely to result in, physical, sexual or
 psychological harm or suffering to women, including threats of such acts, coercion or arbitrary 
deprivation of liberty, whether occurring in public or in private life.”
 
Although pervasive, this violence is not inevitable. 

“It can and must be prevented. Stopping this violence starts with believing survivors, adopting
 comprehensive and inclusive approaches that tackle the root causes, transform harmful social norms,
 and empower women and girls. With survivor-centred essential services across policing, justice, health, 
and social sectors, and sufficient financing for the women’s rights agenda, we can end gender-based 
violence.”

"It is urgently necessary", to quote the great guru of the MISA sect, to recall and point out in this context that
 Gregorian Bivolaru aka Magnus Aurolsson was sentenced to six years in prison for sexual intercourse with a 
minor, and he is currently wanted through Interpol by Finland for aggravated human trafficking and sexual 

The "physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering of women" and their exploitation within 
MISA and its international branches (ATMAN Federation for Yoga and Meditation) has been the 
subject of many documentaries, TV shows and interviews in Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, 
Germany, India, Romania etc.
