"Recently, ... asked me about women volunteering in cult sex chat houses. It's not a simple topic and the line of freedom is pretty thin here. But still:
Let's summarize what we know about the women who got into sex chats through the MISA yoga sect:
- They have lived in a MISA ashram or other sex service (strip bars, tantric brothels...) before - isolated from friends and family
- They get a ticket that only leads to a partial destination - only the coordinator (MISA or Resonance instructors) knows the rest of the trip
- At the final destination their documents are taken away and they learn the rules of their stay
- They sign a supervised contract and enter into a debt trap of house rules
- A coordinator is with them in the house 24 hours a day (they rotate shifts), who makes sure the women don't run away and do what they are supposed to do (they have to spend a certain number of mandatory hours in the sex chat every day or else they are fined)
- They have 1 meal a day (they can't get fat) and have to pay a substantial extra for each additional meal (they can't go shopping by themselves)
- They have large social security and health insurance debts, are not allowed to own a cell phone and are only allowed to leave the house once a week
- They are only allowed to make phone calls under supervision, and only write emails from a shared account
- They must get up daily for the morning orgy (or face fines), must drink everyone's urine (or face problems), and if they don't actively participate in the orgy each morning, they must attend a session with the coordinator
- After a while, they prefer to take aphrodisiacs daily, which are mixed in the drinking and shared urine anyway
- They travel from the house to the station in cars with tinted windows and must always travel in pairs
- Women must spy on each other or face fines
- Eventually they accept that they're there forever."
