The disgusting lair - Vials of urine, nude photos and porn DVDs

Nice Matin and Monaco Matin published on 11.04.2024 an article entitled "Flacons d'urine, photos de femmes dénudées, DVD pornos... L'antre nauséabond du bras droit du gourou Bivolaru sur les hauteurs de Nice", in translation: "Vials of urine, photos of naked women, pornographic DVDs... The disgusting lair of guru Bivolaru's right arm on the hills above Nice".

(The article can be read in full, free of charge, after watching a publicity clip).

The authors reveal new details of the "disgusting mess of sectarian devotion, pornography and illegal work " discovered by French investigators at the Berre-les-Alpes residence of Sorin Turc, who coordinated MISA branches in France and Switzerland.

A series of documents seized from his home led French police to believe that he may have been acting as an intermediary for the "master".

During the searches, investigators discovered photos of barely clothed or completely naked women.
"Some of these photos were found in the correspondence between the owner of the premises and the guru Bivolaru. The photos sometimes include numbers, which makes a source close to the case wonder whether these women were not "numbered like cattle" to make it easier for the "master" to make his choice."

Several envelopes of cash were also found, some with women's first names on them.
In total, money worth "more than 60,000 euros in cash were found, in currencies ranging from Swiss francs to pounds sterling. Perhaps the fruit of another human trafficking operation? This time targeting a male workforce, employed as helping hands in the construction industry."

Sorin Turc housed a lot of people in Berre-les-Alpes in very poor living and hygiene conditions. The buildings on his property had been converted into makeshift rooms, measuring just 3 m2 to fit a bed, a small temple, the guru's portrait and MISA materials.

The raids uncovered dozens of pornographic DVDs and computer equipment: tablets, dozens of mobile phones, hard drives and USB sticks, which investigators have not finished analysing.

What's more, some strange vials/flasks were found, labelled with women's names, containing a foul-smelling, yellowish liquid. The contents are being analysed, as the OCRVP (l'Office Central de Répression des Violences aux Personnes), which carried out the search on 28.11.2023, suspects it is urine.

In another article published the same day in Nice Matin the authors present the results of the searches:  41 people initially arrested, of whom 15 have been charged and 6 imprisoned ( to date).

"Two suspects have been indicted on all counts: "Abuse of weakness by leader of a group (...) exploiting the psychological or physical subjection of participants", "human trafficking in an organized gang", "arrest, abduction, sequestration or arbitrary detention of several people in an organized gang" and "rape in conjunction with one or more other rapes committed on other victims". All the defendants are charged with "human trafficking" and " sequestration in an organized gang"."

The twelve people arrested in Berre-les-Alpes, with the exception of the owner of the location, have been released.

Mention is also made of MISA's virulent reaction, blessings and video reports with "testimonies from detainees, photos of searches and illustrative images. The videos pit "dozens of innocent victims" against heavy-handed police and French media peddling fake news. It's not certain whether investigating magistrates will be receptive to this cyber-argument."
